Can I pay by card?
Yes you can. We accept Visa and Mastercard over the phone. No charge for bank transfers.
What's the difference between a VW California Beach and VW California Ocean?
The California Ocean is a full on home on wheels which includes a sink, hob and even double glazing. The Ocean can seat up 5 passengers with sleeping for 4+ adults.
The California Beach has all the practicality of the Ocean but with more interior space. With no kitchen or sink there's seating for up to 7 passengers and sleeping for 4+ adults.
Both the Ocean and Beach have the pop-up roof housing a super comfy double bed and on the lower deck the rear bench converts into double bed. All our campervans have parking heaters (central heating system) with programmable timer and thermostat to keep you toasty warm whatever the weather.
Are the campervans fully insured?
Our campervans are covered by comprehensive motor insurance policies. The policy excess is £750 plus a £750 excess in the case of accidental/negligent damage caused to our vehicles whilst on hire (deposit £1500 & £1750 for festivals). We retain the booking deposit until all costs are recovered. Our insurance does not cover your personal belongings so please ensure you have adequate travel insurance for your peace of mind.
Can we hire the campervan at any time of year?
Yes, all our Campervans are available to hire all year round and are equipped with a parking heater (central heating system) for all season comfort.
Can I hire the campervan on any day?
Yes you can. Our minimum hire period is usually 3 nights except during July & August when it's 7nights.
How old are your campervans?
All our Campervans are less than 2 years old. The are all factory built VW California campervans
Can we take a campervan abroad?
Yes you can! We offer European insurance at £15 p/day. The cover includes European comprehensive insurance and comprehensive breakdown cover and accident management.
Can I smoke in the campervan?
No. We have a strict no smoking policy.
Why do you need a security deposit of £1500?
The deposit is covers any damage to the campervans during the hire period. The security deposit is fully refunded provided the campervan is returned undamaged, clean, the waste water tank empty and with a full tank of fuel. The deposit is usually taken as a credit/debit card pre-authorisation.

How many drivers are permitted?
Drivers can be added to the insurance as required. All drivers must be over 25 and under 70 years of age. Full details and documentation for each named driver must be provided when you collect the campervan.
Can I leave my vehicle at your premises?
Yes, your vehicle can be left with us for the duration of hire, entirely at the owners own risk. We have secure facilities. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage.
Are the campervans fitted with satellite navigation system?
Yes they are and they even list locations for campsites throughout Western Europe.
Is gas included with the vehicle?
Yes, gas for the 2-ring cooker in the van is included as standard.* This can be refilled at most petrol stations and camp sites and we'll reimburse the gas refill costs - usually around £30. We also provide camping gas for the 2 portable stoves supplied with your hire.

Are pets Allowed?
No, we do not allow pets.
Does the campervan have breakdown cover?
Yes, the campervans are covered in the UK and throughout Europe.
Do you deliver the Campervans?
This is subject to location and subject to additional charge.
